User-friendly features of IntelliMapper include:
- Program setup creates a sitemap in minutes that can be submitted to search engines such as Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask.com.
- Index thousands of URLs simultaneously in a quick and easy format.
- Only three steps required to use IntelliMapper: choose beginner or advanced, enter a web address, and press “start.”
- FTP software is built into IntelliMapper allowing for convenient uploading of finished sitemap without having to use another program.A list of broken links is created after a sitemap is generated making it easier to find and fix problems on the site. Note that broken links are excluded from the sitemap.
- IntelliMapper honors robots.txt files.
Features limited to the full version of IntelliMapper include:
- Users have the option to utilize either a Beginner or Advanced mode when generating sitemaps.
- Full control of the indexing process is made available to the user. This custom feature allows users to exclude particular files, folders, or portions of a website from the sitemap.
IntelliMapper Lite provides the essential features as the full version. Features including different modes of operation and full control of the indexing process are not available in the Lite version. IntelliMapper Lite only allows up to 50 links to be indexed per site.
